US treasuries erase their earlier gains. Yields higher on the day.

Stock recovery a focus

The markets remain volatile and tied to the ebbs and flows in the stock markets. They are recovering with the S&P down only -0.28% and the Nasdaq down -0.14% currently. That has helped to ease the flight to safety bid in the US treasuries that saw yields down about 3 basis points in the 10 year.

The yields in the US are now back in the black with the 2 year up 0.8 basis points to 2.284%, the 10 year up 0.9 basis points to 2.784% and the 30 year up 1.2 basis points to 3.02%.

Gold is up only $2.55 now after being up as much as $16 earlier in the day.
