US tariffs ‘would trigger a chain reaction of negative consequences’

Forty-five trade associations in th4e US are imploring President Trump administration to halt plans to levy tariffs on China

  • In a letter the groups say tariffs “would trigger a chain reaction of negative consequences for the U.S. economy, provoking retaliation; stifling U.S. agriculture, goods, and services exports; and raising costs for businesses and consumers”

Well, yeah.

The Wall Street Journal have the report, here:

Its the It’s the Journal, so may be gated

Instead of tariffs the associations want the Trump administration to work with other nations to press Beijing to end restrictions on foreign firms
