S&P turns into the black
Buyers coming in after the fact
The stock marker moved to the downside during the Presidents speech, but after the event, there has been a move back higher.
The S&P index has moved marginally into the black. The index is still short of the high for the day at 2657 and the shorter term 100 bar MA on the 5-minute chart at 2654. A move above those levels give buyers some comfort. The S&P has not traded above the 100 bar MA since Wednesday.
The Nasdaq is still negative on the day (-8.4 points at 7157. The high reached 7194).
The Dow is up 113 now.
Trump said while exiting the room that the “Stock market is going to be great” and “China is going to treat us fairly”.
