S&P 500 is winning the battle today but limps along in the war
Nice gain in stock markets
The S&P 500 is up 25 points to 2629 in a solid rebound after two days of heavy selling. The big battleground is the 200-day moving average. The index is just above the line but has held so far.
The market is closed tomorrow and that’s a good opportunity for the market to take a deep breath. The problem is that it’s also three days for Presidential tweeting. His musings on Amazon today sent the stock lower.
Later, I’ll have April seasonals for the stock market.
