European stocks end the session with gains
Spain’s Ibex lags
A summary of the European stock market is showing gains.
The Italian FTSE MIB led the winners. It was up 1.16% on the day.
The Spain’s Ibex bucked the bullish trend and is ending the day with a modest -0.04% fall.
- German Dax rose 0.88%
- France’s Cac rose 0.65%
- UK’s FTSE rose 0.10%
- Portugal’s PSI20 rose 0.38%
In the 10 year note sector in Europe today yields are mixed:
- Germany 0.576%, -1.6 basis points
- France 0.822%, -1.5 basis points
- UK 1.438%, unchanged
- Spain 1.382%, -1.8 basis points
- Italy 1.987%, -2.7 basis points
- Portugal 1.79%, -1.5 basis points
beginning of the US trading day). The USD is higher from earlier in the day with the greenback lower vs the JPY but gains have accelerated vs. the EUR, CHF, CAD, AUD and NZD (
since the start of the NY day).
- Bitcoin on Coinbase is trading down $230 and 8089.99 currently. The high reached $8400, while the low extended to $7666. For my technical view, click here.
- Gold is down $8 or -0.60% at $1316.78. The higher dollars helping to keep the pressure on the precious metal
- WTI crude oil futures are trading of $.32 or 0.52% at $61.28. The high reached $61.54, while the low extended to $60.82
