European stock markets struggle, but finish off the lows

French CAC -0.7%
Spain IBEX -0.4%
Italy MIB -1.0%

Italy’s stock market is an interesting one for the technicians. It touched the highest since 2015 but couldn’t break the 2015 highs and has fallen back.
