Citing China’s ambassador to US on the comments
Further evidence that the tit-for-tat measures between the US and China is set to continue for some time to come.
It’s not going to stop unless one party gives in, something I’ve been saying for the last few weeks. And still at this point, there’s no telling who it will be.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 index is taking all these trade wars rhetoric in stride though. The index started the day at the lows near the 21,060 levels but has since bounced back to 21,250 currently – though it is still down 0.66%.
